Did you ever solve this? I have a similar issue on my Astra J. Compressor clutch is not engaging. I had the AC system re-gassed and it's not leaking. Replaced pressure switch on condenser, but no change. Checked fuses and relays - all seems OK. Compressor seems free to spin, not jammed. There are two cables to the compressor. One has ~0.4V.
